dupilumab (Dupixent)

Today, I have exciting news to share with you all!

As a medicine related blogger that mainly focuses on my experiences with eczema, I try to show the different ways to help relieve eczema triggers, the different medications I have used, and what works and what doesn’t. After many different steroids, lotions, medications, I have decided to start Dupixent.

Dupixent is a shot induced medication prescribed to people that have eczema. After around 16 weeks or four months, I should start to see significant improvement. Although there is no known cure to eczema, Dupixent gives the likelihood that flare ups, itching, and rashes eventually reduce to a minimum.

From my research, Dupixent seems to have multiple side effects in the beginning, lessening the more injections I take. My loading dose will be 400 mg followed by 200 mg every two weeks.

That’s it for now! This was just a quick life update and I am so excited to share my eczema journey with you all!
